The United Methodist Church of Hempstead (UMCH) is located at the corner of Washington and Front Streets, the main thoroughfare in the downtown/central business district in the Incorporated Village of Hempstead. The UMCH is surrounded by commercial corridors, Town Hall, District Courthouses, public and Catholic schools of all levels, and a myriad of religious institutions.
